The name of this lipstick speaks for itself. It’s a beautiful plum colour that’s extremely wearable.
One of my favourite lipstick finishes from M.A.C is the lustre finish.
It’s lightweight, and moisturising.
For a sheer lipstick, I thought lustre lipsticks have extremely good payoff as well.
The swatch on the top is swatched once, while the bottom was swatched twice.
Lustre lipsticks can be rather buildable, but if you’re looking for super opaque finishes, I’ll suggest going for the cremesheen finishes instead.
There’s a little bit of shimmer in this lipstick – not frosty, just giving your lips a little sheen.
I think of this as a ‘fall’ shade to wear year round, slightly sultry, but not over dramatic.
Think of it as a ‘my lips but richer’ colour.
I’ve got friends who own this lip colour, who are much tanner than me, yet are able to pull it off beautifully as well. It’s just one of those universal shades.
